ALTSPEAK'S BIOGRAPHY
Although AltSpeak call the Pacific Northwest their home, these
glam-rockers have roots dispersed as far as Europe and the Far East!
Altspeak are post-shoegaze Britpop hipsters looking to share their
catchy melodies and riffs along with their distinctive mesh of pop,
rock and shoegaze with the rest of the Planet.
While supporting their debut album, A Serious Conversation, Altspeak
have been consistently performing locally as well as letting the
word out on the Internet. They have caught the attention of several
European Indies and are on the list of prestigious events such as
Primavera Sound 2007.
Produced by Matt Brown (Trespassers William - Nettwerk), A Serious
Conversation takes pride in being influenced by Radiohead’s approach
to melodic sonic guitar lines, Oasis’ melodies, fills & riffs, the
washy shoegaze sounds of My Bloody Valentine as well as the deep
melodies of classics like David Bowie, Leonard Cohen and The
Beatles.
Despite being busy performing, and barely 7 months after the release
of A Serious Conversation, AltSpeak are currently finishing up their
upcoming album.
AltSpeak are Iggy, Will, Jerry, Mike and Blake

AltSpeak featured along with Hot Hot Heat and The Decemberists as
Northwest’s freshest for the Spring.
GARAGE BAND
AltSpeak received “Best Male Vocals” award and quickly climbed the
top of the charts with their song “Young”.

A Serious Conversation featured as Album of The Month and as Artist
of the Month on Celebrate Radio.

internet radio stations.
